Constitutional act No. 98/I about flag of Republic of Mordovia was accepted 30.3.1995 in Saransk:
Flag of republic has three horizontal stripes of brown-red, white and dark blue (1:2:1). In the centre is brown-red sun symbol. Proportions of flag being 1:2.Petr Exner, 30 Jan 1996

Constitutional act No. 92-I about coat of arms of Republic of Mordovia was accepted 30.3.1995 in Saransk:
In the centre of coat of arms is shield (brown-red, white, dark blue) with little shield of Saransk in its centre.Petr Exner, 30 Jan 1996
