This city of 100,000 inhabitants was founded in 1769. [Apparently (if I am referring to the CoA), the cross is the symbol of the Order of Preachers of Santo Domingo, and represents San Pedro Martyr of Verona, an illustrious figure of this Order and Patron of the town of Guaynabo. Green and silver (replaced with white on the flag) are the oldest heraldical colours of Guaynabo. Note: my image does not look like the "original" one on the Lexjuris site , because the text clearly says that there are 6 green indentations and 5 white ones, whereas the image on the site shows only 5 green and 4 white, which obviously changes the width of the cross as well. I did not make another image , for this really seems to be a gross mistake,
