It seems to me that both the blue diagonal and the dot are too thick
To find out more about how the flag is constructed, I checked the "Norske rederiflagg" (Norwegian houseflags), registered and compiled by the Norwegian Shipowners' Association (published in Norsk Nautisk almanakk og sjøfartskalender 1952, Oslo: Nautisk Forlag, 1951). This is a collection of 358 houseflags and I regard it is reliable.
The houseflag of Fred Olsen & Co. has a ratio of 5 to 7 units, the diagonal is equivalent of 1unit, the diameter of the dot is also 1 unit, while the swallow tail is 2 units deep. The colours are light blue and white.
Much of the Fred. Olsen company is still based in Norway,
as well as in Liechtenstein, the Channel Islands, etc. The
company is involved in shipping, manufacturing of watches
(Timex), etc. Fred. Olsen also owns much land in Gomera,
one of the Canary Islands, which explains the Líneas Fred.
Olsen with a houseflag similar to that of the Norwegian
company but with the colours of Spain.
