Feudal flags

The Tokugawa family had ruled Japan politically for 300 years until Meiji government was establised in 1868 when about 47 Japanese prefectures"KEN" was set up. Prior to the year Japan was divided into about 70 regions called "HAN". Each HAN was ruled by DAIMYO -feudal lord and they all had beautiful colouful flags based on Japanese MON.
