Meaning of colors:
white - color of hope, green - color of nature (pinewoods), yellow - fields of cereal crops (Rannu parish is a good area for agriculture) and blue - lake Võrtsjärv (at west of Rannu parish).

There is also second meaning - The four seasons:
white - winter, blue - spring (snow in march, springwater) ,green - summer and yellow - autumn.

This flag was designed and manufactured in summer 1994 and it is an official symbol of Rannu parish (community).
