Naval ensign and jack

[The naval ensign of Germany] by Carsten Linke, 14 June 1996

According to the Brockhaus Enzyklopaedie, dated 1968 but which still shows many valid flags. The German naval jack is black-red-gold swallow-tailed with the arms [i.e. the same as the naval ensign].
