The Peaceful Liberation of the Holy Places in the XIV Century

In 1239 (December 7) the Sultan of Transjordan, En-Naser Daud, who resided at Kerak, occupied Jerusalem. Once again the Latin clergy were refugees in Acre. The fate of the Holy Places was uncertain.
