We the members of the Free Cuba Foundation wholeheartedly support the passing of the Tibet Resolution in the city of Miami. The Tibetan people are our brothers and sisters because both of us share the first hand knowledge of the ruthlessness and cruelty of communist dictatorships.

In the case of Tibet they have been under the boot of Chinese occupation since 1950, yet they bravely fight on using the methods of non-violence advocated by his holiness the Dalai Lama. There is much we share with the Tibetan people, and much more that we can learn from them. Their courage and spiritual strength are an inspiration to people the world over and to Cuban exiles in particular.

Therefore we respectfully ask that you pass the Tibet Resolution in the city of Miami.
