In the Spring of 1989, millions of Chinese citizens took their frustration to
the street, demonstrating and demanding for reform and crackdown on the
wide-spread corruptions at all levels of the Chinese government. It started on
Beijing's university campuses and quickly became a national movement -- from
coastal provinces, metropolitan areas to the heartland and remote regions.
All walks of life joined in as the international media and the world
community watched. The sea of flags in Tian anmen Square, the statue of
Goddess of Democracy, and smiling faces of the young and old made
history.
