The Holy week celebrations in Jerusalem was commenced with the solem entry of the Patriarch into the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre. The Patriarch was received at the entrance of the Basilica by the Franciscan Frairs and he offerd prayers at the Holy Tomb. All the Holy places in the Basilica were visited and venerated in a solem procession which was held immediately thereafter.

19. The procession passes through the place of apparition of Jesus to Mary Magdalene
