      Enter, come in, and rejoice!

      Stay low you portal lintels.
      Let heads and shoulders
      bend humbly low toward earth.
      Let hearts and souls bow down
      Before this Holy Place.

      The Lord of Heaven
      the King of earth
      has come to this poor,
      clefted, manger-place.

      In sheltered cave-shadows,
      under night-black skies,
      Dawn- light has come.

      ‘Tis not the star above,
      but ... the Son within
      that helps us see
      this ... New Day dawning.

      Come East and West.
      Enter North and South.
      Bear your gifts
      of incense-myrrh-ed praise
      to the Babe, the King,
      the Son from Heaven’s realm.

      His silence, lets us speak.
      His smallness, permits us
      largesse to bring.

      Rejoice ... favored ones,
      Enter ... royal-ed ones
      Come in ... My Beloved People!
