70. Gedur, also Gidirtha - (Kh. Jadirah)

A vignette "door between two towers" beyond a two lines inscription.

Gedur (Jos 15:58), in the tribe of Judah. And today there is a large village called Gedrus at the 10th milestone from Diospolis on the road to Eleutheropolis. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 68:22-23; Jerome 69:20-21)
