65. Adiathim now Aditha - (al-Hadithah)

Two lines white inscription above a "door between two towers" larger than usually.


Adithaim [Adiathaim] (Jos 15:36), in the tribe of Judah. Under this name goes a village near Gaza, Adia, and another, Aditha near Diospolis to the east. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 24:24-25; Jerome 25:29-31)
