58. Aceldama

A white inscription, in the south-west of Jerusalem indicates the "Field of Blood".	Aceldama (Matt 27:8), the "Field of Blood" in the Gospel. This is shown to this very day in Jerusalem to the north of Mount Sion. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 38:20-21; Jerome 39:26-27)
