47. Rimmon - (al-Rammun)

Rimmon (Jos 15:32), in the tribe of Simeon or of Judah. Now it is a village called Remmon near Jerusalem to the north, at the 15th milestone. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 144:11-12; Jerome 145:10-11)
