46. Ephron also Ephraia, where went the Lord - (al-Tayyibah)

Two lines of white inscription mention the biblical village of Ephron, visited also by the Lord.

Ophrah (Jos 18:23) in the lot of Benjamin. And today it is a village called Ephraim at the fifth milestone from Bethel to the east. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 28:4-5; Jerome 29:4-5)

Ephron (Jos 15:9) in the tribe of Judah. And today it is a very large village called Ephraea, north of Jerusalem at the 21st milestone. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 86:1-2; Jerome 87:1-2)

Ephraim 'near the wilderness' (John 11:54) where Jesus went 'with his disciples': it is also mentioned above, under the heading Ephron. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 90:18-19; Jerome 91:24-25)
