26. Aia - (Kh. 'Ay ?)

Four towers: between two towers, there is a gate, while the other two towers frame of curtain.


Aie (Num 21:11), also called Achelgai, which Symmachus translates 'in the hills'. It is in the vicinity of Moab, today (called) Areopolis, to the east. (Eusebius, Onomasticon 10:12-14; Jerome 11:10-12)
